Understand Why It Came in the First Place

A mole does not eat your roots. Everything in a molehill is just displaced soil. What the mole is actually hunting underground is worms, grubs, and beetle larvae. If your lawn has plenty of moles, it almost certainly has plenty of grubs. Many gardeners are shocked to learn this — and even more shocked when they realize that getting rid of the grubs gets rid of the moles within a few weeks. No grubs, no food. No food, no mole. The fastest fix is always the indirect one.
